There won’t be many smartphone launches next week. Only one brand has planned an event and that is Realme.
Realme is set to launch the Realme 10 series in China on November 17 (Thursday). The conference will start at 14:00 GMT+8 and will be broadcast live on Weibo and other leading Chinese video streaming platforms.
The brand was expected to launch three models namely Realme 10, Realme 10 Pro, and Realme 10 Pro+. However, it has already announced the vanilla model today.
So let’s take a look at the remaining two phones.
Upcoming smartphones next week
The Realme 10 Pro carries the model number RMX3663. It is expected to be available in three storage configurations such as 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB.
It will have a 6.78-inch FHD+ display. The panel type is unknown. Interestingly, the handset is said to feature a 16MP main camera accompanied by two 2MP sensors (presumably for macro and depth). Even the selfie camera will have 16 megapixels.
The device is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and will boot Android 13. Finally, it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
Realme 10 5G smartphone with 90Hz screen
Chinese smartphone maker Realme detailed the Realme 10 5G on Friday. The successor to Realme 9 5G, the smartphone is likely to be launched in India soon. The 5G smartphone boasts a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast wired charging and Realme UI based on Android 12. Below are the details of the smartphone:
Realme 10 5G: Specifications
Realme 10 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor which comes with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU graphics. It has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The smartphone is available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. It runs Realme UI based on Android 12 operating system. It has a triple camera system on the back with a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor, a 2MP macro camera and an AI lens. On the front, the phone has an 8MP camera sensor. Camera features include LED flash, HDR and panorama mode.
Power is provided by a 5,000 mAh battery, which is supported by 33W fast cable charging. The company claims that the charger takes about 30 minutes to charge up to 50 percent of the battery. Other features include a side fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack for wired audio output, USB-C port for charging and data transfers, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, dual SIM card slots, built-in GPS and 5G network. Supports microSD card for storage expansion. The Realme 10 comes in gold and black.
In addition, Realme launched the Realme 10 smartphone worldwide on November 9. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 processor which comes with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics. The smartphone has a 6.4-inch FullHD+ super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and runs the Realme user interface based on the Android 12 operating system. It supports a microSD card for storage expansion – up to 1 TB. The Realme 10 comes in clash white and rush black.
