Two weeks after actor Parvati Nair filed a police complaint that her helper stole valuables worth Rs 14 crore from her home, a man on Thursday filed a counter-complaint against Nair, saying the actor assaulted him and the theft complaint was false. .
Subhash Chandra Bose, 30, of Pudukkottai has been working at Parvati Nair’s house on Sterling Road for the past two years. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Bose said, “Nair suspected me of being an informer for the producer who had sent me to work for her. She questioned my loyalty and attacked me along with her male friends.”
On 20 October, Parvati Nair filed a complaint at the Nungambakkam police station, stating that Bose had allegedly stolen two watches worth over Rs 10,000, a laptop worth Rs 1 lakh and two mobile phones.
On Thursday, the police called Nair for investigation. Parvati Nair acted in films like ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ and ‘Nimir’.
