Redmi K50i India Launch Date
Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K50i in India on July 20. The company has confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase through Amazon India. The device will also be available for purchase on Mi.com, Mi Home Stores and other channels after the launch.
The Redmi K50i India launch event will be hosted virtually. Interested viewers will be able to watch the live stream on Redmi India’s official YouTube channel and other social media platforms.

The official pricing details of the Redmi K50i will be announced at the July 20 event. However, a rumor leaked the Redmi K50i India price and sale date even before the official announcement. Xiaomi will reportedly launch the device with two storage options. The base model with 6GB RAM will cost between Rs 24,000 and Rs 28,000. It is expected to be launched at Rs 26,999.
There will be another storage configuration with 8GB RAM which will cost Rs 31,999. The Redmi K50i will debut in India in three color variants – Stealth Black, Quick Silver and Phantom Blue.
The device is said to go on sale from July 22. As part of the India launch offers, HDFC Bank card customers will be able to claim instant discounts on device purchases on Amazon India.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi K50i will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. If the leaked price is correct, the Redmi K50i will be the most affordable smartphone with the Dimensity 8100 SoC. The same chipset is found in Realme GT Neo 3 and OnePlus 10R. The upcoming Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G is also confirmed to feature a modified version of the Dimensity 8100 SoC called the Dimensity 8100-MAX.
The 5G chipset will be paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM along with 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Reports claim that the phone will support 67W fast charging out of the box. It will contain a 5080 mAh battery.
On the front, the Redmi K50i will come with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD. The display will offer support for a 144Hz refresh rate. It will come with a punch-hole cutout at the top center for the front camera.
The Redmi K50i boots Android 12 out of the box. It will have MIUI 13 layered on top. The phone will also have a triple camera on the back. There will be a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone will have a 16MP front camera.
