Realme has just launched two new smartphones called the Narzo 50 Pro 5G and Narzo 50 5G under its fast-growing Narzo series. Both calls are part of the OPPO sub-brands previous push for full budget and intermediate phases. Over the years, the lines between Narzo devices and Realme’s signature series have become increasingly dim.
The same can be said of the Realme Narzo 50 Pro, which is what I have for review today. For sale at an initial price of Rs 21,999, the device shares a few specs with the more expensive Realme 9 Pro + but also reduces a few. Time to find out if the Narzo 50 Pro 5G is a decision you can make for less than Rs 25,000 in this detailed review. STRANGER THINGS SEASON 4 Download Filmyzilla, Telegram Link and Review
The Realme Narzo 50 Pro is a versatile phone for its design, processing power, battery life, and photography capabilities. It is only slightly reduced due to the lack of a high-level update indicator and MicroSD card slot, as well as the presence of bloatware.
Realme Narzo 50 Pro Review
The Narzo 50 Pro shares many of its design features with previous Realme devices. Everything from matte-finish polycarbonate back to its camera range to rear angles reminds us of the phones launched this year by Chinese tech giants. I have a different Hyper Blue color that looks good, though my favorite would be the Hyper Black color scheme. There is not much you can say about the design language of the Narzo 50 Pro that has not been mentioned in the previous review of Realme.
I admire the 8mm phone profile, especially when I look at the 5,000mAh battery installed inside. Other than that, the buttons respond adequately to my liking, and the placement of the USB C, speaker speaker, and 3.5mm headphone jack is in its normal position below while the verification functions are performed with a finger pointing inside. sense. On the side of the display, the phone packs a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a perforated hole on the top left of the camera for the photo you shot. The screen updates at 90Hz and has FHD + resolution. Realme provided a good viewing experience in its mid-range offering and the Narzo 50 Pro 5G built on the same. The clear visuals on the OLED screen with deep black accents and bright colors give the user a better representation of the content used on the screen.
I also did not see the 90Hz refresh rate lose its rhythm while roaming the UI or scrolling my social media feed. For extra protection, Realme also installed Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to prevent accidental scratching on the screen. 1,000nits of high light device makes it easy to use in sunny outdoor environments.
Finally, the screen has HDR10 + capability and a standard WideVine L1 certificate for HD content on OTT platforms. However, Netflix and Amazon Prime, as of now, cannot display HDR content on the Narzo 50 Pro screen. Apple iPhone 14 Specs, Pricing, Rumors and Launch Date
In terms of optics, the phone has a 48MP main shooting base based on 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP main sensor. I have already done a full camera comparison between the Narzo 50 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro + (review). Basically, Narzo does not have the best color science when working with daytime landscape images whether the images are pixel-bound or a full 48MP resolution. A detailed and flexible range is acceptable while focus speed and shutter are also good.

Where the Narzo 50 Pro takes a definite lead is in its wide range of sharp images throughout the frame while maintaining a decent color accuracy and minimal edge flexibility. The depth of the phone map of the sculptures is also very good with the excellent edge detection even though the image may look a little fuller. As for the main shooter, the phone is able to focus well on close objects but low resolution acts as a distraction while viewing images on a large screen.
Low light images have improved slightly on recent Realme phones and the Narzo 50 Pro continues to follow the trend. Photos at night have better details than those offered by the Note 11 Pro +.
Exposure levels are moderate and noise reduction does not lead to unnecessary overdose. Dedicated night mode also helps to get better colors and more details in the shade than photos that do not use the feature. Lastly, the photos you took from the 16MP front-facing camera are simply decent and have facial details as well as skin tones that do not deviate too much from reality.
MediaTek Dimension 920 holds processing power on the device. We saw several phones powered by the chipset and I was impressed by all of them. For some reason, the Antutu trusted benchmark does not work on the Narzo 50 Pro but from the Geekbench 5 multi-core score of 2,332, I can conclude that the device is not for you.
The chipset also performs well under stable load with the CPU Throttle benchmark showing only 13 percent moving from high performance. Any common smartphone usage tasks such as switching the app or using multiple Chrome tabs can be accomplished seamlessly.
I also tried my hand at some of the most popular game titles like BGMI and managed to get the Extra Frame Rate option (60fps) when the images are set to Smooth. About an hour after playing the game, I did not see much movement or downtime. In terms of RAM and storage, the phone has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is no option to expand using the MicroSD card slot.
In terms of sound, the Realme Narzo 50 Pro has Dolby Atmos and Hi-res support in its stereo speaker set and headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor on the display works well as it performs facial verification when the light is right. 5G is a continuous operation of India’s telecommunications infrastructure but there should be some level of performance by the end of this year. Until then 4G LTE mobile services are good enough for me to love.
Ahead of the software, the Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 is running on the device. I was very impressed with how Realme has improved its skin over time to have the perfect combination of minimalism and customization. However, problems related to excessive bloatware still persist on the device. You can read more about Realme UI 3.0 experience in my review of Realme GT 2.
By using the battery, Realme packed into a 5,000mAh cell that can keep the phone running for over a day if used in moderation. I checked the PCMark battery and the device dropped points for about 19 hours which I think is very good for a given battery capacity. The 33W charger provided inside the box can immerse the device in less than 100 minutes with a USB C port below.
