Earlier this week, we got more information about the upcoming Moto G42 thanks to a Geekbench listing that revealed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. Now, the folks at GizPaw have shared the device’s full detailed spec list along with a new official image of the blue colorway.
The Moto G42 is said to offer a punch-hole cutout for a 6.4-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution (though no info on its refresh rate) and a 13MP selfie camera. On the back, there will be an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera, as well as a 50MP main camera. The phone will be equipped with an IP52 rating, Dolby Atmos, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It is said to measure 161.83 x 73.96 x 8.59 mm and weigh 184 grams. A 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support will meet the battery needs.
Moving on to optics, the Moto G62 will have triple cameras on the back with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle/depth camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/. 2.4 aperture. For selfies and video chats, there is a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.45 aperture.
