iQOO is gearing up to launch its iQOO 10 series of smartphones. The iQOO 10 series, which will include the vanilla iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro, will be launched on July 19, 2022, in China. Ahead of the launch, iQOO confirmed that the iQOO 10 Pro will come with support for a whopping 200W fast charging, making it the fastest charging smartphone to date. On the other hand, the iQOO 10 may have to settle for “only” 120W fast charging instead.

iQOO 10 Pro 200W fast charging support confirmed
As seen in the promotional poster above, the iQOO 10 Pro is confirmed to support 200W fast charging. The reports confirm previous leaks that suggested the iQOO 10 Pro could be the new king of fast charging in the smartphone space. How long the device will need to charge from 0 to 100 percent using the new 200W fast charging technology remains to be seen.
In fact, the first appearance of a 200W fast charger for use with the iQOO 10 Pro was also revealed. The device will take approximately 5 minutes to charge from 0 to 63 percent. It remains to be seen how long the device takes to charge from 63 to 100 percent, as the brand may have used some kind of trickle charging technology to charge the device safely.
iQOO 10 Pro Specs (Expected)
The iQOO 10 Pro is said to have a 6.78-inch 2K+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which should be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5/LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 storage. In terms of software, the iQOO 10 Pro boots Android 12-based OriginOS out of the box.
For photography and video recording, the iQOO 10 Pro is designed to have a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 14.6MP telephoto lens. On the front, the device is said to come with a 32MP selfie snapper. As for the device’s battery, the iQOO 10 Pro will reportedly pack a 4,550mAh battery with support for 200W fast charging.
