Apple will start rolling out iOS 16 to supported iPhone models from September this year. Ahead of iOS 16, here’s an easy guide on how you can edit or unsend messages in iMessages.

Apple, as is its custom, will roll out iOS 16 to all supported iPhones this September following the launch of the iPhone 14 series of smartphones. Ahead of the official launch of iOS 16, the company gave us a sneak peek at what we should expect from the company’s mobile operating system when it becomes more widely available in the form of a public beta version of the operating system.

The company recently launched the second beta version of iOS 16 on iPhones, bringing the ability to edit and even cancel sending messages in Apple’s iMessage app. For those of you who haven’t had time to catch up on updates, with iOS 16, iPhone users will be able to edit sent messages and cancel sent messages once they’ve been shared at a specific time. Apple’s preview page for the iOS 16 feature says that this time period is set to 15 minutes for both features.

So before the official launch of iOS 16, here is an easy guide to help you edit or unsend a sent message in iMessage.
