Apple provided a few features on the Apple iPhone that make the user experience better for device owners and make the experience more enjoyable. One such feature is Automated Authentication, which helps to eliminate annoying CAPTCHA verification on websites.

You should have encountered CAPTCHAs on a few websites that basically help prevent bots from spam and marketing accounts and bulk users. But it is also annoying for ordinary users and destroys the feeling of browsing.

With the automatic authentication feature on the Apple iPhone using the latest iOS 16 operating system, users can bypass CAPTCHAs completely without the need for additional tools or information.

In this step-by-step guide, we will show you how to bypass CAPTCHA verification on your Apple iPhone running iOS 16 using the Automatic Verification feature.

How to pass CAPTCHA verification on Apple iPhone

Step 1: Open the “Settings” application on your Apple iPhone.

Step 2: When the app opens, press your Apple ID at the top of the screen.

Step 3: There, press the “Password & Security” option.

Step 4: Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enable conversion to get the “Automatic Verification” option.

That’s all. Once you have followed the above-mentioned guide and made the changes, restart your Apple iPhone for the changes to take effect. After the device restarts, you will see that CAPTCHAs from your device’s visited websites will be automatically overridden using the default verification feature.

The functionality of this feature is complex as it establishes a connection between your smartphone, Apple ID, Apple services, and a web server, but all of this happens in the background. For simplicity, when you visit a website with CAPTCHA verification, it automatically requests a verification token to log in to CAPTCHA on the website.

IOS 16 promises a lot of good features and it looks like Apple has a lot of tricks for iPhone users this year. According to new reports, iOS 16 will allow you to access different sites without having to log in to the Captcha login system. In this case, you must identify the appropriate photos associated with the selection to prove you are not a robot. So, instead of Captcha login, Apple is introducing a Private Access Token for iOS 16 for iPhone users.

Apple had a session at WWDC 2022 earlier this month entitled Replace CAPTCHA with Private Access Token. Apple reportedly explained the use of these tokens to its developers. It says tokens will help applications identify HTTP requests from people and the appropriate device assigned to the user. This feature promises better security for applications, and developers get guaranteed access without using CAPTCHA.

Apple uses its closed device ecosystem to activate new tokens. Signing in takes place with Apple ID and your tokens are projected next to cryptography making it difficult to remove and securely stored in your cloud ID.

Apple has already started working with companies like Fastly and services like Cloudflare. Apple is likely to offer a new login system with the first set of iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura betas that will be released next month to users.

The Company hopes that the new privacy policy beyond CAPTCHA login may be successful and that as it is already fully operational, users will be able to access third-party applications and websites seamlessly through the data stored in their iCloud account.

Tokens have proven to be a useful tool for quick access / login, and it will be interesting to see that Google and Microsoft also consider replacing CAPTCHA with the same token login system for their users.
