Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have a long history dating back to around 2017 after the makeup mogul called things off with then-boyfriend Tyga.
Since then, the couple has welcomed two children on and off — Stormi and a son, whose name has not yet been released — and continue to be co-parents.
While they appeared to have built a solid foundation, drama ensued when the model claimed in October 2022 that Scott had cheated on Jenner with her, although he denies the allegations.
Here’s a look at where things started and how their relationship grew to where it is today.
The same circles
It’s unclear exactly when the two stars first met, but they both agree that they knew each other for a while before becoming romantically involved.
“We always knew each other like we hung out — I mean, we just had mutual friends,” Jenner told GQ in 2018. “But we never really hung out because I thought he didn’t like me. “
Breakups and upheavals
Jenner called things off with longtime boyfriend Tyga in March 2017 after two years of dating.
Tyga’s ex-fiancée Blac Chyna claimed he was cheating on Jenner at the time, though the “Kardashians” star later shared that they ended things amicably.
“Me and T had absolutely nothing going on,” Jenner revealed on an August 2017 episode of “Life of Kylie.” “It wasn’t a crazy fight. We decided — well, I decided — that I’m really young. I don’t want to be in five years to look back and feel like he took something away from me when he really isn’t that type of person.”
Jenner’s single situation opened the door for her and Scott started dating.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder first sparked dating rumors with Scott when she and the “SICKOMODE” rapper were spotted getting cozy at Coachella in April 2017.
Jenner admitted that things moved quickly with Scott and joined him on tour after hitting it off at a music festival.
“He said, ‘I’m going back on tour — what do we want to do with it?’ Because we obviously liked each other,” Jenner told GQ in 2018. ‘with you’… And then we drove off into the sunset.”
PDA at Play
The duo began making public appearances together the same month they went to Coachella.
Jenner was seen supporting Scott during his performance at Bentley University in April 2017 and canoodled at a club later that day.
“He was definitely looking for something intimate,” one clubgoer told People at the time. “They also talked a lot. Like actually having a conversation. They danced in the club. They were definitely great for each other. He didn’t really perform, he just showed up and had fun. They also left in the same car.” Black Friday deals 2022: latest early sales
They hung out courtside at a basketball game in June of that year and made things more permanent that same month by getting a butterfly tattoo.
That same month, Scott was photographed making out with Jenner, putting his hands on her bum.
Building a family
News that Jenner was pregnant and expecting her first child with Scott broke in September 2017. She kept her pregnancy a secret from the public for months
In February 2018, Jenner and the rapper announced that they welcomed their first child together, a daughter.
“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark despite all assumptions,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I knew for myself that I had to prepare for this role in life in the most positive, healthy and stress-free way I knew how.”
A few days later, she revealed that their little girl is named Stormi Webster and has adopted the last name of her rapper boyfriend, whose real name is Jacques Webster, Jr.
Despite sharing a child, Jenner and Scott remained in separate homes but continued to co-parent baby Stormi.
“Kylie is happy with their living situation,” a source close to Jenner told People at the time. “Travis is a great dad. When he wants to work, Kylie supports him. He has everything he needs right now and he looks very happy.”
Scott celebrated Stormi’s birth with an expensive “gift”.
In February 2018, Jenner showed off Scott’s rare Ferrari, which was estimated to be worth $1.4 million.
Jenner and Scott made their red carpet debut at the May 2018 Met Gala.
Wearing a black velvet Vera Wang gown, Jenner posed with her arm wrapped around Scott as they put their love on display for the world to see.
The couple’s cover story
Things seemed to get even more serious when the couple did a joint interview with GQ magazine in August 2018.
The pair posed for the cover of the magazine and revealed details about their relationship that they had previously kept private.
